The Story So Far
Yeah, I've done a good job of keeping up on this, haven't I. Uh huh. Next I'll actually email all the people I've been promising to for the past six months.
Anyway, general update (*salutes*General Update!) Right now, I'm walking around (well, sitting at the moment but you get the idea) in a cute pair of green shoes (they're the ones at the bottom. You can't miss them) to get ready for next week's Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Yeah, I'm supposed to wear heels for it, but my balance is bad enough as is. Maybe next year.
Still trying (though not as much as I should) to do at least 10 minutes of work on Wii Fit. It's tiring work, but these pounds won't dissolve themselves. But I'm having fun with it, keeping track of records and averages and stuff on it. Which brings me to...
My other latest obsession. Namely, the fact that Math Is Delicious. A while back, Kristin sent me a link to a site called Project Euler, which is basically an oodle of math problems that one generally needs to program your computer to solve. So I've been going nuts learning all sorts of new languages. Hey, it's even making me more marketable whenever I decide to move on from The Andersons.
Last, but not least on this wall of text, I shall add a link to the start of the Saving Pushing Daisies campaign. C'mon, people. If you aren't watching this show, you should be. And hey, if you start now, it might just help things out.

Best. Lint. Ever.
So, I was getting ready to toss a bunch of shirts into the dryer across the hall. So I open up said dryer in order to clean out the lint bin, and what do I find? A Not-Even-Damp Twenty Dollar Bill. After the day I had yesterday, good to see karma come back a bit. But now it's off to work out a bit and then go watch Grey's.

How To Lose Sci Fi Credibility
Warning. Here there be spoilers for Sanctuary.
I hated it when they did it on B5, and I still don't like it now. Seriously, tying things in to Ripper mythos just makes you pretentious. And this coming from me, who knows from pretentious.
Still, Sanctuary has some potential. We'll see how it plays out over the next few weeks, I suppose.

Isn't it Ironic
So, I just mapquested directions to the Obama HQ in Toledo, thinking I might be able to do what the woman in this article did. So of course, one of the two google ads that popped up?
Do You Need to Register to Vote

One really has to laugh at that :-)

Brrrrrr
Okay, fall is officially upon us, I fear. Mostly due to the fact that I had to break out my jacket this morning. 40 degree weather will do that to you. And if nothing else, that really helped to push home the fact that I need a new light jacket :-)

Epic Fail
So, I've been having problems at work lately with my Mac and printing, ever since we upgraded the OS. Today, I decided to look into it and see what exactly the problem was. Turns out, I forgot to do something really really basic, namely installing the frickin' printer! I have lost all my IT cred.
In better news, Charter One has given me my money back! More details on that when I get them.

All You Have To Do Is Dream
You know you've been spending too much time working at Project Euler when you start dreaming in primes.
Who Are You?
I should eventually go in and edit some of these posts and change all the titles to song lyrics. But not today. I'm lazy.
Anyway, stress levels rising as the ID Theft drama continues. Turns out that the people at the realtors office were a bit less then clear when I was there last week. I went today to pay half the rent, or at least what I thought was half the rent. They didn't tell me that they were tacking on $70 of fees on top of that, or that I have to pay the whole thing no later than this Friday.
Honestly, right now, I'm not sure which is causing me more grey hairs. The ID theft itself and the juggling of cash that is the result thereof, or all the damn communication barriers I have to fight my way through in order to get a semi-clear answer.
But it's nap time for me in hopes that sweet sweet sleep will cause me to relax for an hour or two.

A Quick One While She's Away
More details about the weekend later, but wanted to jump in, say I got back to Toledo in one piece, had a good weekend in Athens, and am off to take a nap.

On the Road Again
Getting ready to get going off to Athens for the weekend. I'm feeling better, which is good. Plus, Quality Kristin Time™ can only help me :-)

Braiiiiiiins
So, I'm sick. Not the fun "in the head" type (though there's that also, usually). More the feeling like crap and staying within running distance of a toilet kind. I've been spitting up for about 9 hours now, with one round of some really gross vomiting that I really don't feel the need to get into here.
I was going to go to an urgent care center. First thought was, "I don't want to drive myself", so I drove to my parents house. They proceeded to throw pepto bismol, crackers and ginger ale at me. After I laid down for a minute, I texted Kristin and told her what I was doing. She long distance smacked me upside the head (which I needed) and convinced me to go anyway.
The look on my mother's face when I had the audacity to go against what they thought was the best? Ugh. Of course,I didn't make it to the center since Kristin had talked to her father, who (probably rightfully) diagnosed it as food poisoning. Luckily, I was right by the grocery store as I got the text, so grabbed some meds and here I am. Now to try to feel better enough to drive 4 hours tomorrow.

Please Don't Take My Picture
So, found out that I seem to have had my ID stolen a week or so ago. Rawr. Yeah, there's been about 10 purchases that I didn't make on my debit card, the result of which is all sorts of shenanigans and fees and stuff. I did some quick math while at the bank waiting to talk to somebody (who was really helpful, I have to say) and found that all in all, I've lost over $800 due to this completely messed up situation. So now to go and email my lawyer and find out just what the deal is. Again, rawr.
If You Start Me Up
It's 7:30 in the morning, and I've decided to finally start blogging again. But this is mostly going to be a small traffic one, none of those hoity toity political or specialized blogs. Rather, it's so my wife, mother in law, and various friends can check up on me and see that yes, I'm still alive. (cue cake joke).
More to come, but I should probably get ready for work and/or grab some food.
